In elective we had many project and they were all fun, but one that I found made a real impact for me was the serial podcast project. For this project we had to listen to a podcast called serial then write a summary about the podcast episode. I feel that this project made a real impacted on me because it opened my eyes to things I didn't see before. For example, the podcast is about a murder murder trail and now I know how murder trials work and how easy it is for someone to be wrongly convicted. It is projects like this one that reminds me what AdVENTURE is all about.

 

            During this project I was able to express my opinion about the evidence and make my own threoy as to what happened. This is an important skill to learn because as a scientist you have to make a hypthosis

about something then examing the evidence and make a judgement about that. I get that skill from this project because we do similar things that a scientist does but only with different topic. For exampls, I listen a podcast episode then form an opinion about the evidence then make a threoy as to what really happened if I think there is a lack of evidence being provided for that episode.
