In social studies we did lots of fun assignments and project, but one that I really felt I connected with the most was a real court case that we reenacted. We were assigned a part then we had to learn our lines the simulates what the court case was like. We had about one class period to learn the script and also time at home. Then the next day we set up the classroom like a court case then we began.

My role in the case was one of the lawyers for Honda. This gave me an interesting point of view on the court room. This is because there are so many different roles in the court and they all are feeling different things which allowes them to have differnet point of views. I learned that lawyers have to do a lot to win a court case and if they just do one thing wrong they could lose the case. I also relized that I don't want to be a lawyer because as much fun as it was pretending to be one actually being won't be fun. This project really helped me understand the Judical Branch and why it is important and that it is not something I want to do.
